This hotel checked all the boxes: 1. Friendly staff (Check-in and house keeping). 2. Updated rooms 3. Clean throughout 4. Nice breakfast (Staff was so nice and made sure everything was up to par) It is also not too far from Four Seasons shopping and the highway.
Brittany was so helpful and a joy during check in. The problem was a crazy Indonesian lady in the food service area and Tracy at the front desk. They are both crazy with no provocation. The Indonesian lady called my family member a liar when he advised her that there was no grape juice or cranberry juice in the juice machine. She then went to another customer to complain about him, much to the customer's surprise and dismay, and said "she was just trying to do her job". I called to speak with the manager, Susan, about the issue and was told by Tracy at the front desk that she was supposed to be in, but she didnt know when and to call her back. When I called her back 3 hours later, I was told that she had come in and gone. I then tried to leave my name and number to have Susan call back. Tracy refused to take it and then inexplicably said, the customer is not always right. I asked her what she said and she repeated it. I told her corporate would not appreciate what she said to a customer and she replied that she was leaving anyway, so she didn't care. Any place that would hire anyone such as these two, does not deserve my business or my money. There is another review on here about the foreign lady. STAY ELSEWHERE UNTIL THEY ARE GONE!!! Townhouse Suites is right next door and a better site.…
It's a clean and modern hotel. The rooms do need more ceiling lights though. The pool was okay. Breakfast was good too. But here's the part that I didn't like. The hotel staff was all nice to me (front desk, housekeeping, and the kitchen staff) but there was this kitchen staff who always had a weird eye on me. She was like don't touch this and that. And when I was making waffles in the morning she was telling me to hurry up, that I'm taking too long, but there was a whole line of people that were making waffles and they were taking more time than me. She didn't say anything to anyone else except me. But anyway, if you were to stay at this hotel, I would still recommend it, but, I'd rather stay somewhere else.
Decent hotel. We arrived around 10 pm. Our TV didn't work so they moved us to a different room - right next door. The person moving us said they would discount our room for that night... we didn't ask and thought that was extremely nice... however, upon checking out... no discount. Not that it is a big deal but don't say it if it ain't so.
We had a nice time staying at the Fairfield Inn Greensboro Coliseum. We were in town to visit 2 universities over the weekend. The hotel served us well, clean and friendly staff. They even adjusted my rate when I saw that it had reduced. Would definitely stay again if in the area. My only wish is if breakfast was a little more robust, water, fruit, pastries and breakfast bars were offered and no coffee or warm/hot breakfast.
