Quiet, friendly, country setting. We stayed at Hide Away Meadows while visiting Altus & Mt. Magazine. Very convenient to I40 and Hwy 64. Calvin & Linda are very involved with the guests, very helpful, accomodating, and informative about the area. The rooms are small but very clean and comfy. Lovely log home with a wrap around porch. Quiet country setting with lots of rocking chairs all around the porch. If you like sitting on a porch and just clearing your mind....this is an awesome place! We would stay here again.
My family and I stayed at Hideaway meadows because we were in town for a wedding. It was a wonderful place to stay! It was quiet, relaxing, very clean, and the food was amazing! The owners were incredibly sweet and accommodating. I would definately recommend Hideaway Meadows!!!!
Decided on this bed and breakfast after reading someone else's good review and am glad we did. Calvin and Linda were excellent hosts and were really happy to share their home with us. Be sure to check out the incredible wood laminate artwork on the walls - Calvin was an incredible artist in his youth! This B&B is about 5 miles out of town and it is very quiet and peaceful. Nearby are a few quaint small country towns and even four vineyards/wineries that give tours and have wine tasting. The breakfast in the morning was delicious - Linda is indeed a wonderful cook. We had quiche, peach scones, and fresh cut blueberries, strawberries, grapes, and kiwi fruit with cream on top - yummy. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Calvin and Linda!
This charming bed and breakfast is located on the outskirts of Clarksville, AR. It is perfectly located in a country setting away from the busy city. Antique shopping as well as local vineyards and wineries are just minutes away. Relax on wrap-around porch in a rocker while having your morning coffee as we did. Linda & Calvin (the innkeepers) are kind & accommodating hosts. The home is beautifully & simply decorated - it has 3 guest rooms each with private bath, & a community room in the basement. Linda is an excellent cook & served up amazing quiche with peach scones on our first morning, and fresh blueberry pancakes on our second morning. We felt right at home here, as if we were visiting relatives or long-lost friends. We highly recommend giving this place a try if you want to get away from it all.…
