Hi. the canoe launch is about 50 yards away on the bank of the river opposite us. We are in a terrace of houses, and we used to rent a garage down the road, but unfortunately the owner sold the building and we no longer have that facility. If you enquire at The Hope and Anchor pub, opposite, on the bank of the river, they are usually helpful and find somewhere to store them, otherwise Ross Rowing Club may be able to help, just a little way further along the bank, but only a short walk. I am assuming the kayaks are your own, and not from a canoe hire company. If that were the case, I would advise you to ask the hire company for their advice. Hope this answers your question and I'm sorry we no longer have the garage to store them in..
Hi, first apologies if my question has already been submitted, I had a few issues sending it.
Just in case here it is again.
What are the parking facilities like,please.. My husband has some mobility issues and has a blue badge if that helps. Thanks
Hi. Firstly, our building is not the best for those with mobility issues. It is a Grade II listed terraced house and to go to the nearest bedroom, there are three steps into the building, then 13 up a slightly winding staircase to the first floor. There are no lifts I am sorry to advise. However, depending on the issue, we would obviously like to welcome you both here. Re parking, the blue badge, I think, will cover you to park outside in the road in front of the building anyway. Hope this answers your question. For a more disability friendly guest house, and I am sorry to have these problems, we would advise either the Radcliffe House or else Portland House, at Whitchurch - they are particularly helpful in this area. Thank you for your question. I hope you will understand that though I truly value your custom, I want to be fair though and honest, as this is more helpful to you, I think;
Hi, of course your dogs are welcome! I have been welcoming dogs at The White House for 11 years. For 9 of those years I had my own dog. Every dog who comes is our special guest. There are biscuits in silver salvers in the room, towels available to dry them when its wet. A sausage for breakfast each morning. There is a great expanse of riverbank opposite us and lots of lovely walks from here. Spoiled or what!" You will understand of course we can't allow pets in the dining room at breakfast, for health and safety reasons.. We don't charge anything for dogs!. Two weeks before you arrive we have around 12 dogs staying, for the Soi Foundation weekend. I hope that this answers your question. No one has ever asked me if I welcome or tolerate my guests before!
