We are traveling with a power wheelchair used (a teenager) and a very elderly person. How handicapped accessible is this hotel?

Hi , I would say this is quite accessible there are rooms in a separate building which would easily be accessed from the parking area directly outside these have a large terrace overlooking the lake if you have a ground floor room. The staff are extremely helpful but I would suggest you ring the hotel before booking to check on facilities within the rooms . Hope it is suitable and you enjoy your stay there Cathy

Mindy, I was there for one night also, but I am sure the staff will go the extra mile to make sure you have all you need and accommodate your requirements. I would make a list of those, then give the Chase a ring as they are very helpful and friendly. It is always better to be sure in your mind, before you visit, that you will be well catered for.

I hope you have a great trip and that the British weather is kind to you, Best wishes, Donna.

Access to the ground floor from the outside is very good a flat even 20 metre walk to the door, there is a ramp taking you to reception. We don't recall seeing a lift, but I should imagine there is a service lift for disabled purposes as well.

In the grounds there are lots of steps to the patio area, the patio area is better accessed from the bar lounge area with a wheelchair. You can also move around the grounds quite easy at lake level, there is a sloping path on the outer edges which take you back to the car park near the reception door.

One or two rooms have large balconies outside (room 9) which is ideal for someone sitting in the wheelchair and want to enjoy the view.

The staff are very caring so I should imagine anyone with any kind of disability will be well catered for.

Mindy, my apologies if I am unable to help but I just can't comment as I was only there for one evening and didn't take note of the facilities. Safe travels Simon
