Η προσέγγιση του Tripadvisor στις κριτικές
Πριν από τη δημοσίευση, κάθε κριτική στο Tripadvisor περνά από ένα αυτοματοποιημένο σύστημα παρακολούθησης, το οποίο συλλέγει πληροφορίες, απαντώντας στις ακόλουθες ερωτήσεις: πώς, τι, πού και πότε. Εάν το σύστημα ανιχνεύσει κάτι που πιθανώς αντιβαίνει στις οδηγίες της κοινότητάς μας, η κριτική δεν δημοσιεύεται.

Mountain biking through Zagori's villages, dirt roads and historic bridges was a dream until I made an appt. with Makis from Mountain Goat Adventures and made it a reality. Makis has been in this area for some 20 years and knows the area, trails, vegetation, landmark bridges and villages really well. I learned a ton and had a truly memorable ride. I highly recommend Mountain Goat Greece. This was epic! Thanks Again Makis! This was the highlight of my trip to Greece hand down!

Makis was my guide for a trek up to Dragon Lake (Drakolimni) and I am very glad that I chose him. The hike is arduous and technical in some places when coming down; although I am in decent shape and have hiked before, it was great having him lead. Makis set a reasonable pace and provided necessary advice to make sure that we completed it. All along, he provided insightful information regarding the geography, geology, ecology and anthropology of the region, that made it intellectually interesting as well as physically challenging. I would highly recommend Makis as a guide for any adventure that you may have in Zagori!

A great Vikos Gorge hike with Makis from Mountain Goat earlier this week. We’re not super super fit (aged 68 and 59) and he paced the walk well for us. It’s quite a challenging hike but the views are terrific and you will enjoy your beer when you get back!

The river trekking on the upper voidomatis river was one of the highlights of our stay in the Zagora region. Guide Apostolis did a great job and made it an unforgetable expierience

Highly recommended!
My son and 5 of his friends all 17-18 years old, spend 6 wonderful days hiking with Makis. The trip was amazing, challenging and fun. they came back full of stories.
they loved every minute.
thank you Makis for handling a group of teenagers, always hungry and sometimes complaining :-)

We had an amazing day
Our guide Makis took us safely to Drakolimni
21 km ,10 hours
We had small stops and a nice light lunch brought by Makis when we arrived in Drakolimni
Makis insisted to give us buttons Yes!!!
Do not go without buttons
If you’re not a hiker expert,I do recommend to take a guide.He gives you the correct speed in order to manage arriving first at the Katafigio and then to Drakolimni
It was difficult but the view and the whole route is amazing

I organised a 3 day trip with Makis at The Mountain Goat and we had a wonderful time. Makis was fantastic both beforehand via email for our last minute decision to travel to Greece and whilst we were there.
We did 2 days of walking in and around the Vikos Gorge which is such a beautiful place. Despite being rather less fit than we should have been Makis was patient, helpful and informative. He organised a great guest house for our stay, great walks, lovely picnics and a wonderful trip on the Voidamatis river. Our age range was 18-63 and we all loved every second and have wonderful memories. Such a special time during this strange year.

We had a fabulous day trekking through the Vikos Gorge with Lukas. Lukas is a great guide, informative, safety conscious, he was great with all four hikers, funny and and all round great guy. The walk was excellent, stunning scenery, plenty of photos opportunities, okay it was a little hard at times but it was a very warm day. Be prepared, take plenty of water and make sure you have some good trekking gear.

It’s the second time I travel and coordinate everything through Makis and the experience is amazing. He is flexible and knows how to fit the right difficulty level and the point of interest to what I asked him. At the dime time his recommendation and suggestions were perfect to what I was looking for. I. Sure I will use his services again in the future when I’ll come the third time to the area. I hiked this time with Aggelo who was duly tuned to my needs and we had great time together.

My cousin and I had three days self-guided walking in the Zagori region with luggage transfer, meals and hotels organised by Compass Adventures. As we were arriving and departing by public transport, they also arranged to collect us in Ioannina and then after our trip, take us to a town where we could catch an onward bus to the Albanian border. This was really helpful as public transport is very limited in the area. The Compass staff we met were courteous and helpful, and the hotels were great. We asked for walking which included the Vikos gorge but which otherwise would give us an overview of the region and Compass came up with an excellent plan which was challenging (for us, aged 53 and 61, female, and not the fittest walkers) and interesting, and the trip exceeded our expectations. This was a part of Greece we had never before visited and we found it even more spectacular than we had imagined. I would highly recommend Compass Adventures as professional, knowledgeable, efficient, helpful and easy to deal with.
