Le personnel est très accueillant et pédagogue. Prise de rdv par téléphone en anglais. 2 heures de cours avec les quinze première minutes pour l'connaitre la planche et les gestes. Cela varie en fonction des connaissances du surf de l'élève. Mon fils était seul en cette période. Un peu de monde sur la plage. la délimitation nageurs/ surfeurs n'est pas suffisante. Mais il n'y a pas eu d'incident. Mon fils a passé un super moment il s'en souviendra longtemps.

Marios instructed me perfectly after some time without kite surfing. Very recommendable if you look for first or advanced wave experience!

Really well managed, and great chill vibe! Marios and his wife Thais own this little gem. Both lovely and inspiring people!
I started with surf lessons, then decided to do the kitesurf course with Marios. Great guy with passion for water sports. He has lots of (kite/surf)experience and pays close attention to safety. Marios is a great instructor; his patience, dedication and people skills make him a very knowledgeable teacher. He’s not the fast forward/money maker guy and puts lots of energy/effort in teaching you the right skills. If you really want to learn (kite)surfing, then go to this school! Definitely recommend and I’ll definitely come back! Thank you guys!

I found the owner of Surf in Crete, Marios, to be an excellent instructor and a genuinely great guy, with a respect for life and a real passion for his sport and profession. As a newbie to kitesurfing it was important to me to find somebody that focused on safety and a desire to drill into the detail of the fundamentals and basics, not somebody that just wanted to process me through the course, sign me off and take my money, kitesurfing is potentially far too dangerous a sport for this type of approach. I found Marios to have the perfect balance of a real passion for the sport and a desire to instill the correct way of thinking about the sport to be safe, to understand and avoid the danger before it becomes a danger, and to ensure that all around can enjoy the sport and their own lives. As a consequence I am now a confident beginner in kitesurfing, and will soon be purchasing my own kitesurfing equipment to build up the number of supervised hours of practice I need to start level 3 and become truly independent. I highly recommend Surf in Crete to all who wish to kitesurf safely with knowledge and skill.

Accueil sympathique mais les planches sont des planches pour débutants et le spot et très petit car la plupart de la plage est réservée aux nageurs. Le prix est de 30€ la demi journée

Trainer Marios is the best. You learn Kitesurf with safety .The spot is very good with sand and away of swimmers .

I accidentally found Surf in Crete while was in search for kite school for myself and my wife. Turned out to be a a gem. Marios is a great teacher - very passionate and dedicated to his work. We had great time during lessons so after we finished our kite certification we took surf and SUP lessons as well!

I had one lesson with Marios, as I stayed only for 4 days in Crete. He helped me to get on track again and become an independent kiter. We got through the important kiting technique stuff as well as safety wind conditions and practice. I feel confident now to rent a kite on my own, as Marios helped me to understand things that were not clear to me. The lesson was very well balanced and also very fun. Marios is very patient, helpful, respectful and passionate about kiting, surfing SUP and teaching!!! Do not go anywhere else if you want to have fun and learning something in a distracted atmosphere. Thank you Marios!!!

Weather will be still somewhat frontal in May, it can be really windy like spring in UK, take a wetsuit as it will be still a tad cool as well. So bit hit or miss as thermals not yet fully kicking in but still every chance of wind.
