Wow what a fabulous experience… excellent communication when booking.. we were collected from our hotel.. taken to Plantanias where we meet Nick who explained how the quads worked. As soon as we left I knew this was going to be a brilliant trip. Had a couple of stops where Nick explained everything. The scenery was absolutely beautiful. We went on the 3.30pm trip but it was still very warm! We stopped about half way through where ice lolly’s were given out to everyone on the trip by Nick.
All in all loved every minute of it and would definitely use Beach Bums again. Well done guys! 5 stars

It was great! Cruising through the mountains with fantastic views and even a little off road driving. Adrian our Guide was super friendly, very open and helpful. The quad bikes take you to areas where you can't reach by car and you can enjoy beautiful views. Within 2 years we will come back and sail on your dream boat;)

Everything was perfect, from pick up at the hotel on time to knowing how to operate the ATVs safely and the amazing trip through the mountains and along the coast to dropping back off at the hotel. Adrian (our tour guide) was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and even gave us some tips on other places to visit in Chania. 5/5

I took this excursion back in August and it was epic. My guide was fantastic very knowledgable and they made sure everyone to hoe to operate their quad properly before we even set out. If you want to travel off the beaten path during your trip to western Crete this is the place to call.

Beach Bums Quad safari was a nice way to explore the greater area of Agria Marina and the mountains nearby. A god mixture of riding on asphalt, dirt road/off road and scenic roads along the coast.
We were picked up and dropped off from/to our hotel free of charge which was quite nice!
We took the tour that started 15:30 (3:30 pm) which gave us a cooler temperature since it was later during the day.
The trip had 2 breaks/stops with great views! The last one from a vantage point with views towards Platanias, Agria Marina and all the way to Chania! Our tour guide Nick, also surprised us with a nice and cold ice lollipop which was awesome.
Pointers: you will need to pay a deposit via Paypal, and the full payment for the activity cash or by Paypal once at the site. There is a ATM across the street from Beach Bum location.
To the Beach Bum Team,
Supplement with more tour guide like stories or information before and during the Safari. This is always what people expect from a guided Safari adventure! :)
All in all, i can recommend This Safari, great experience & good value for the money!

Nice and fun trip, where you got to see a lot and got to see some of the truths of Crete. Worth the money.
However, the ATVs were relatively broken and we had to get more air in the tires and some experienced problems with ignition.

Great trip - a lot of fun and worth the money. Guide was very good, and the trails we went up (and down) were an experience! Great views as well!

Driving quads was such a fun way to see Chania with its beautiful mountains and sea views. Adrian was a great tour guide. Highly recommend doing this!

Mega cool tour and super friendly guide! Also our daughter (8 years old) liked it very much. We are quad Beginners and have always felt in good hands

Thursday 1 August 2024 we spent the morning with Adrian from Beachbum on a trip in the Cretan mountains. In one word, it can be described as fantastic.
In other words, I will also send a warm thank you to Adrian who, in his calm manner, drove us through the mountains and past small and fine authentic Cretan towns. We can highly recommend this trip to those of you who visit Platania and want to see a little more than just the beach, city life and the hotel's pool facilities. Just do it - you won't regret it!
