Great day trip
Excellent day trip to the island , swimming in ocean after was refreshing, really enjoyed the experience and the transfer through the island

Je suis tout a fait d'accord avec elisabethg189
La descente en foret, rien d'exceptionnel, nous en avons des mêmes en Suisse.
A faire depuis le bas. Vous perdez moins de temps et vous pourrez faire autre chose le reste de la journée.
Cela dit les falaises sont belles.

De gids was aardig, maar we hadden meer begeleiding verwacht in de steden en op Spinalonga. We kregen alleen in de bus een beetje informatie over de steden, maar op de locaties zelf hadden we vrije tijd en kregen we geen informatie meer. Zeker op Spinalonga hadden wij meer willen weten over de geschiedenis van het eiland.

Ook was er een deel in de tour waar iedereen kon zwemmen in de zee, dit was niet aangegeven door Tripadvisor waardoor wij jammer genoeg niet mee konden doen. Dit zorgde ervoor dat wij bijna een half uur in de volle zon hebben moeten wachten op het bootje.

Wij hopen dat Tripadvisor hun informatie snel aanpast zodat mensen in het vervolg beter weten wat ze kunnen verwachten en wat er nou écht bij de tour hoort.

Spinalonga day trip.

Fantastic day which we all enjoyed. Our guide Elena was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. A good mix of stops with the right amount of time for each.

Would recommend bringing swimming costumes for the swim at the end of the day on the way back from Spinalonga. We didn't because we thought it would be too cold, but it was perfect, so we wish we had done.

Gebuchte informative Führung absolut sinnvoll

Also Knossos sollte man definitiv, wenn man in der Nähe Urlaub macht, besuchen aber mit einer Führung. Es sind viele viele Steine und nur durch Erklärung konnte man sich alles gut vorstellen und erkennen und verstehen. Sehr interessante Erzählungen und Mythen aus der Vergangenheit.....der rote Faden.

Reasonable price and very private!!!
The guide was excellent however when I asked her a question she made an assumption that she already answered that question and I wasn’t listening. She gave me some attitude. Also she took us to a carpet demonstration that also included a little bit of a push to buy a beautiful but very costly Turkish rug. A little more pressure than I wanted. Although the demonstration was interesting I was in no mood to be pushed into buying a very costly rug. Our guide was very informative and enthusiastic. I would highly recommend doing the private tour on your own and not through the cruise ship. It was about a quarter of the cost and very private. We got in before the big crowds hit and out before they got back to the ship.

The information provided mentioned the tour would last 8 hours but in fact, after arriving at the fountain and a 30 minute talk and walk around, we were left on our own. The information provided should be corrected. We did enjoy the tour and the guide.

The island had so much to see on it - much more than we were expecting. We had a really good explore (didn't get a guided tour so we could pretty much wander everywhere. Some boat trips give you 70 minutes but I definitely think more time is needed and then you can end with a nice coffee at the snack bar overlooking the water.

Nicely organized trip, but lacking information at the booking site

So I basically paid 45€ for a bus ride and guiding. The guide that we had was really good of a story teller, which made listening to her guidance entertaining. She was nice and looked after everyone.
I was on a budget and it just was a poor experience for me because of the lack of information that you need to ¡carry your id! in order to get the free tickets you need to buy yourself to latishi and knossos when you're a under 25yo european citizen.
Since there was no mention of anything really, I would assume that everything is taken care of for me if I purchase a trip package that says I do not have to pay for anything else, than the really good food we had at this really nice restaurant in betweed the visits of latishi and knossos.
We also visited a monastery and a nice shop that had clothing, ceramics, olive oil, cosmetics ect.
