Αυτό είναι ένα εξαιρετικό μέρος για να περάσετε μερικές ώρες. Υπάρχει πάντα μια εκπαιδευτική συμβάντων και περιηγήσεις με ξεναγό τουλάχιστον μία ή δύο φορές την εβδομάδα. Καλό για παιδιά όσο και για ενήλικες. Ταινία Μικρού Μήκους στο θαλάσσιες χελώνες. Οι χάρτες. Τα ψάρια. Αξίζει να το σταματήσουν. Όποιος επισκέπτεται αυτή παίρνει το μέρος.

Barrier Island Center was a great place for viewing sea turtles. The center is well kept and all the people are very nice. There is also a nice wildlife sanctuary right across A1A. This is a family-friendly place.

Educational Turtle and Barrier Island location.

I enjoyed the exhibits. The films were worth watching and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The deck around the building had picnic tables. The paths through the vegetation and down to the beach had informative signage. Parking was close. Animals are not allowed in the building, service animals excepted.

Great event for the Sea Turtle Conservancy. Sea Turtle release where they are tracked for distance. Great fund raising event.

We truly loved stoping here! My children learned lots, and so did us parents. We enjoyed the film being shown and all the hands on learning. We loved learned so much about sea turtles and their nests/eggs/babies. Really enjoyed the real animals (sea horse, turtle, fish etc) wish there was a little more of that! The outside was fun too, but looked as though it was run down or maybe needed cleaned up. My only compliant was the person working the desk, we was not very nice and seemed annoyed by my girls questions about thing which we such a missed opportunity I wish hadn’t gone that way. She followed us outside after awhile and my girls instinctively tried to get her to smile or be friendly and she ignored them and walked in.
As we were leaving, there was some staff cleaning things up in the parking lot and they were SO kind. Asked what they had learned, if we had any questions etc! Be sure to bring some cash to put in the donation box to contribute to this amazing, educational space!

We brought our grandchildren here to see and learn about the turtles and their travels in the Atlantic Ocean. Very interesting and never seen a white sea horse either they have displays setup for viewing.When you leave a donation is welcome. Great place and informative.

Great day for young and old

Informative center for the area and especially if one wants to learn more about the various turtles which nest in the area. Interactive exhibits for the kids and fascinating history for the adults. Easy access, plenty of parking and it is free.
