Mixed experience. Bought rosey glow package.arrived 5 mins early. Was left waiting for ten minutes for therapist then therapist showed me to the room and left me for a further ten minutes to take my robe off and get on bed. Treatment was nice but key parts of experience were left out such as heated eye mask. Scalp massage was given with one hand whilst she messed with watch. Experience was finished after 40 minutes despite paying 62 pounds for 55 minutes. Felt like she wanted to spend as least time with me as possible. Room very nice. Products gorgeous just felt a bit short changed especially as I hardly ever get to do things for myself these days.

How can you fit 8 people in a Luke warm jacuzzi. How could the other jacuzzi be broken (again). How can you write your name on the glass door of the sauna. Why does the sauna smell so bad. Why is the pool so cold. Why is the changing room so dirty. But above all why do so many people in Carlisle put up with this?

We visited Carlisle Bannatyne Health Club visited for a "Spa Day" booked through Red Letter Days on 31.8.2022.
It was my first Spa day experience and a gift from family for our wedding anniversary. Regrettably the experience was very disappointing.
We spent the first hour attempting to relax in the jacuzzi whilst in the company of an entire aqua water aerobics class complete with boom box.
We attempted to retreat to the Steam Room. One was clearly out of order so I went into the other which had its lights on. But there was no steam....
We reported this to reception several times throughout the day, first being told that it was being cleaned, despite the fact that this was outside the designated time for cleaning. Despite returning on several occasions and reporting this, the steam room remained out of order all day.
What salvaged the day from being a total disaster was the treatments which we enjoyed in the afternoon although these did start 5 minutes late and end 5 minutes early so the positive experience was cut short.
Afterwards, we went for a coffee but the coffee machine was out of order. So in the end we cut our losses and left early extremely disappointed at the overall experience.
After later reporting matters to the general manager we were informed that they did have maintenance issues with both the steam room and coffee machine. Why were staff not aware of these issues so they could properly communicate them to guests?
Whilst we were offered complimentary day passes to use the pool facilities and gym, we were informed that whilst the steam rooms are working currently there was no guarantees they would be when we arrived...... So it sounds like they have maintenance problems quite frequently.
We felt they should have been willing to offer a partial refund or at least some sort of discount on treatments but this was not forthcoming and the offer was declined. Overall a disappointing experience with disappointing aftercare.

Had a spa today and was absolutely lovely! At the front desk you get to pay £6 for a bag with flip flops a towel and dressing gown. Didn’t use the pool out of choice but was a good size. There’s two good size hot tubs which were a lovely temp. Two saunas and a steam room. Had some food in the cafe lovely service and food. Had a back massage facial and scalp massage and was amazing. The wellness suite was one of the best I had been in. Water beds were fantastic and also had hot stone beds but again didn’t use these out of choice. Very good and friendly service and a lovely day for myself and sister in law for her birthday. Would definitely return.

I don't normally write a review on the places I visit but this SPA deserved it and the massager Jessica deserves the recognition and is great at her job ✌🏼
Me and my partner had a massage and a relaxation day there and it was soo chilled!
If you want to be pampered and experience an amazing massage then I recommend that this is the place to go.

I am giving this one star only because I can't award them zero. This company does not care about its customers...only about how much money it can get from people. Terrible attitude towards its customers, poor facilities and overpriced !

I enjoyed the day. The sauna steam room and jacuzzi were very hot !!! The pool was big enough. The jacuzzi in the pool was nice. The girl who done my facial was helpful. I bought 3 products.i was given a £5.00 voucher. The relaxing room in spa upstairs was brilliant. Needs chilled water. Lemon and ice cubes. The bottle need filling and more glasses. The girl on reception could explained the place better. A little more care and attention to people who are new. The place was clean. The change rooms were well equipped. Nice hot shower s. A good layout.

On arrival, the system said we weren’t booked in even though we had confirmation. There had been a mess up somewhere earlier in the day and our booking had been cancelled. But - the reception staff were amazing! Understanding, friendly, helpful and accommodating. All was sorted.
We didn’t use the gym, but thoroughly enjoyed the pool, the saunas, the lunch, the relaxation etc etc. And our one-hour long treatments were wonderful.
Definitely going back.

Got voucher for treatments as a gift for 2 people. Very friendly, polite, helpful staff at front desk before and after treatments. Spa therapists very welcoming and professional, asked lots of questions to make sure we got what we wanted. Good advice on products used and no pressure to buy. Totally blissful experience. Thanks to all staff.

Me and my partner went here for a back and neck massage the staff were polite and professional. They have really good offers on too. The pool and other amenities were fantastic as well. Definitely try the food good prices and very filling. Thank you for a great experience we will deffo be back.
