Friendly and inviting with an excellent course. Everything is well kept and the course is a good challenge. Large clubhouse serving great food and drinks

Eaten here numerous occasions cant fault it overall food quality very good. Lovely to sit outside. Indoors slightly dated. but its the food we come here for.

My girlfriend visited this place for a work’s lunch earlier in the week and was really impressed with the food and service! We decided to go for Sunday lunch as we intended to do some shopping in Carlisle!
All I can say is that it was absolutely perfect! Perfect location perfect service and good tasty well presented food! My girlfriend had the Salmon which was just cooked to perfection! I had the roast Turkey with all the trimmings! Everything was faultless and we both agreed we were definitely be back soon!
Whole heartedly recommend a visit!👍

This is a smart golf club a just on the opposite side of the motorway to the town. There is plenty of parking and a lovely clubhouse affording views over the course. The course itself is a very nice parkland layout offering easy walking. The seventeenth is pretty down hill par 3 where accuracy is key. The 18th runs in front of the clubhouse and culminates in a large three tiered green quite a challenge. The course is maintained to a high level and I would have no hesitation in playing it again.

guys had a great time regardless of the dodgy weather and there is every chance we will be back again next year.
Food - Restaurant class
Service - Couldnt be better
Course - Wow, hidden gem, championship class, greens excellent, cracking par 3's
Weather - not so great but didnt really matter to be honest, it was that good

Perhaps Carlisle's best kept secret ! We had Sunday lunch on a fabulous sunny day . Drinks on the terrace overlooking the 18th green pre lunch , followed by an absolutely outstanding meal . This is the best Sunday lunch we have had in the area for many years , very good indeed .
In addition , the service was friendly and professional . Just surprised it wasn't busier as this really is a hidden gem and perhaps not marketed as actively as it could be .
A really great experience from start to finish and in such a beautiful setting .

The Clubhouse is in a South facing location, with stunning views over the beautifully manicured golf course. Our visit was on a Saturday afternoon in May and the sunshine was streaming into the clubhouse. The atmosphere was buzzing. The menu choice was comprehensive, but the food was even more impressive. The ham was delicious and like we used to buy in the local butcher's shop when we were kids 50 years ago! The chef was excellent in fulfilling the special requirements of non fat food for my sister in law.The service was outstanding and nothing was too much trouble for our lovely waitress. Her interaction with the diners was superb. This was a lovely experience. 10/10.

Been here twice now in the past month. Yesterday for an evening meal, and a Sunday lunch at the start of the month. I had never been before, but this place was recommended by a family memeber. Everyone really enjoyed their food. The quality is amazing, and prices are very reasonable. The young girl is very efficient. When I was in for the Sunday lunch she asked the chef if I could have a different desert that wasn’t on the menu that day, and it wasn’t a problem for them. Highly recommended. Can’t wait to try the breakfast next (:

10/10 for food, service , everything was brilliant. Waitress Susan was amazing Thankyou all for making it a great afternoon. Chef roast beef rare was amazing 👌👏🏻
