A really nice genuine guy. Great service. Superb well maintained bike which he even deliver to the hotel and collected. Totally recommended.

Fabulous service and e-bikes! We researched a few groups prior to renting from Cretan Sports Cycling for our 7 day cycling tour of Crete. An absolute pleasure dealing with Eva and her husband. They became like family. The weather wasn't great when we arrived for our 34th anniversary in late October. Eva delivered our e-bikes to our hotel and even drove us out of town since it was sprinkling. She was in constant touch and made sure we had the unforgettable trip we did! I recommend them 100%. Crete is a fantastic island to explore on bikes and you won't be disappointed with the quality of bikes and most of all service. Efaristo!!

Hired a road bike for a day to do the climb up to Skinakas Observatory. I expected a bike hire shop with a bike to rent.
What I found was a lovely couple who are really passionate about cycling. They studied my planned route and gave a lot of really useful advice. They fitted my own pedals and gps. They checked I had everything I needed, GAVE me a banana and cold water to take.
I was concerned I might not make it back in time before they close, but this was no problem at all for them as they live over the shop and I can return any time!
The bike was excellent, (a word of caution to UK travellers: the brakes are reversed so left lever is front!). Gears bang on, new brake pads and everything like new.
I did return on time and on arrival was given a glass of raki, some home-made sweet and a jar of delicious home-made jam to take back with me.
All just perfect! Thank you!

Evan and Fanis were amazing in helping me organise by biking holiday in Crete! i would recommend them highly to anyone wanting to experience the amazing rides on this beautiful island. They drove me to my hotel with my bike, transferred me to the south of the island and then picked me up and dropped me off to the airport. everything was perfect! They also recommended some great rides.. :-)

We rented two road bikes that were in perfect conditions including helmets, bottles, pumps and repair kits. What more could one ask for? Well, how about dropping off the bikes at your accommodation and picking them up again? Eva was kind, helpful and very service-oriented. We will hire from her again next time we are heading to Crete!

Je recherchais un vélo à louer autour d'Héraklion je me suis donc rendu chez ce couple qui propose une vaste quantité de vélos et de grande variété. Je recommande absolument pour tous types de sortie à 2 roues. Eva et son mari m'ont proposé un vélo qui correspondait parfaitement à mon profil et me l'ont réglé au centimètre près lorsque je l'ai récupéré, ils m'ont aussi prêter des gourdes d'eau ainsi que tout le nécessaire de sécurité et de "réparation". Merci à eux et je suis encore ici pour longtemps et j'y retournerai sans hésiter. Seul souci qui n'est pas leur faute leur magasin se trouve un peu éloigné du centre mais c'est très facile à trouver !

Our family of 4 from South Africa travelled to Crete for a 2 week non-organised cycling holiday in September 2019. Eva from Cretan Sports Cycling was incredible. She was there to welcome us off the ferry from Athens, allocated us great bikes, gave us ideas for a beautiful route, took us to our hotel for the evening, fetched us in the morning and dropped us off outside Heraklion so we could leave the city hassle-free. Eva went every extra mile that she could have to accommodate us - nothing was too much trouble. I cannot recommend her and Cretan Sports Cycling highly enough.

We were looking for 2 bikes for a 2 week non organized bicycle tour. We hit upon Cretan Sports Cycling. What a lucky shot.
For 2 weeks we drove on all road types in Crete, with only small technical problems, like necessity to lubricate the chain ( after riding in heavy rain fall) and finding a screw for the luggage rack.
At their shop in Herakleion there is plenty of choice with a well equipped workshop.
Spare tires, repair material, helmet all included.
We didn’t bring our own shoes and saddle, but no need to regret it.
Most willing to advise you and to help you, all served with Cretan hospitality.
Wholeheartedly recommended.

I truly hate having to write this review. People make mistakes. We were a party of 8 and had a day tour planned with Cretan Sport Cycle. We were to meet at our cruise port when finally we realized no one was coming. We called and learned that however the reservation was to ‘get on the books’, it never happened. They were unable to accommodate us at that point so we had no tour for the day. Our ship offered one but it had already departed. The company apologized profusely but we were still stuck. My suggestion to anyone booking a tour any where, CONFIRM THE WEEK OR SO BEFORE. Though the reservation was confirmed, things happen. I certainly have learned my lesson. So disappointed we missed our bike ride.

I am very sad for that misunderstanding . You sent us on August 1st a tour request for a cycling tour for your group for September 28th .i confirmed on August 6th the availability to organise for you a private tour in Lasithi Plateau .
Since then , you did not contacted with us again , and we did n't know if you were still interested for the tour or had chanced your plans. when you contacted with me on September 28th unfortunatelly there was not enough time because you would be only for a few hours on the island.
I never "forgot you" , and nor other of my clients since 5 years i run this business. I really sorry once again for luck communication and hope to have the oportunity to serve you another time and live the high quality of our servives.
