Bessy is a great person, fun, friendly, knowledgeable and excellent tour guide who is totally reliable and an excellent driver...everything you could possibly hope for!! She took us to Knossos from Heraklion and suggested some other tours. That afternoon I sprained my ankle in the square and I called Bessy to see if she knew where I could buy crutches. She came right over with a pair of crutches she had in her basement!! A couple of days later we were going to Chania from Heraklion and checked with Bessy about taking us there, maybe stopping by a winery, taking a short tour of Reythmno...we figured that would be more fun for my husband and I so that he wouldn't have to drive and could see more of the sights along the way. Bessy called around to find a winery that was open this time of year (a rarety) and brought us there. She told us a lot about Greece and other locations to visit on Crete, and stopped at some beautiful waterfront villages along the way. A very enjoyable day! And she speaks fluently in both Greek and English which was very helpful to us.

We were lucky to have Bessy as our guide through the eastern Crete tour. Her knowledge and connection in the island areas were amazing. She paid close attention to what we liked, and planned the route to maximize our experience. In this off season, she was able to arrange a trip to the Spinalonga island where the boat only took us to the island and we had the whole island to ourselves. That was a huge treat! She took us to see the lake of Agios Nikolaos on our way to the Cave of Zeus, and stopped by two monasteries. On our way back she took us to an olive oil refinery where we saw the whole process of how olive oil was pressed off fresh olives. Her experience, friendliness, professionalism, and caring all shone through our excellent day trip. She was warm and like a good friend. I would recommend her to any friends for day trips on the Crete Island.

We had a great day, thanks to Bessie, our driver from Heraklion Taxi,(Cretan Family Taxi). She was on time, helped us figure out how to meet her outside of the port, then we had a pleasant drive to Vouves to see the ancient olive tree. The scenery from Heraklion to Vouves is spectacular along the way.

Bessy really saved us. We were stuck at Heraklion Airport, in chaos after torrential rains. Flight cancelled. Desperately waiting for taxis. She managed to get through the traffic jams to pick us up, soaking wet. We were never so happy to get a cab. Thanks again.

It was one of worst days to work. Floods everywhere traffic crazy. Had to get you to hotel. Stay safe🙂😀

Traveling around Greece from North America? I HIGHLY recommend this taxi service! Easy to communicate with over WhatsApp, and quick to respond. Reliable, comfortable, and all about service! Thank you for making it sooo easy to get from my Airbnb in Heraklion to the Airport:)
My friend and I had separate trips, and they were diligent, on time, and convenient to book. Cannot recommend enough. I personally enjoy seamless transport to and from airports, and this Taxi service was a no brainer.

We spent a day with Bessy and it was great! We only had 2 days in Crete and didn’t want to rent a car so this worked out perfectly. From Heraklion we went to Chania, a winery tasting that she organized for us, Rethymno. Bessy speaks perfect English (born in Canada) , was on time, professional, great driver and just a lovely person. Happy to recommend her to anyone visiting Crete.

Really a lovely and friendly Woman. She arrived ond time with her Taxi and was very helpfull with the Baggage. The dride with her to the Airport was very nice. I woud book her Taxi Agency everytime again.

Brilliant service. Excellent communication. Our flight was delayed but they waited for us. Lovely and chatty driver. They picked my daughter up as she joined us later. Bessy even arranged us another taxi company when we changed our flight back from Rethymno to Chania. This is the first time using a taxi from the airport and as we were arriving late at night I wanted someone trustworthy. Bessy was recommended on the Crete lovers Facebook page. Bessy was a bit more expensive than other taxi companies but worth it as all of her taxis turned up on time. I will be using Bessy again from now on.
