Fantastic tour!

This was the best tour! Theo, our guide, was amazing, fun and informative! Our Driver, Gus, (sp?) was very accommodating! The stops and timing were perfect! I would say this is an absolute must way to see the Temple of Poseidon, especially for the sunset! Definitely, 5+ stars!

Well worth the money

This trip is a must, especially for the sunset!
Our guide Theodore was amazing, he was very friendly and knowledgeable. We loved his telling of greek myths during the journey and his knowledge about Athens was top class. Our driver was also very good, and if you've been to Athens before then you'll know that's important!
The site it's self is very impressive with fantastic photo opportunities

Gorgeous sunset views!
Seeing Cape Sounion is a must! I would say just to rent a car and see it on your own, though.

Our guide was excellent, and I loved getting to know him. Our driver was excellent too. I just don’t think you need a guide, if you’re willing to drive.

Seeing it at sunset was divine, and because we were there in March, it was not terribly crowded. You don’t need more than an hour at the cape, unless you want to eat dinner.

A beautiful and entertaining experience

This was an absolutely beautiful trip! Seeing it at sunset is a must. The temple itself is remarkable, and the surrounding area is serene. The tour guides, Teddy and Lucianna (I hope I'm spelling that correctly), were fun and friendly and made the trip much more enjoyable!

A historical road trip from Athens
Very informative and enthusiastic guide in Gari topped a beautiful trip to Cape Sounion/Poseidon's Temple. The trip was just long enough for us and we would recommend it.

Informative Tour mit super netter Betreuung

Für uns als Familie mit einer kleinen Tochter (22 Monate) war die Halbtagestour super geeignet. Während der Fahrt hat unsere Reiseleiterin Lili ganz viel erzählt (von der Griechischen Mythologie bis hin zu aktuellen Tipps für den Urlaub) und unsere Fragen beantwortet. Der Tempel und die Anlage waren dadurch sehr interessant und alles gut verständlich. Auf der Rückfahrt hat sich Lili dann auch noch ganz lieb um unsere übermüdete Tochter gekümmert.. ein perfekter Ausflug für uns!

Excellent half-day trip from Athens!

We were picked up from our hotel, stopped at multiple locations (i.e. Lake Vouliagmeni) on our way down to the Temple of Poseidon, and gained an immense amount of knowledge about ancient Greek history and Greek culture. Our tour guide had a wealth of knowledge and our driver left us feeling secure among the winding roads.

If you're tossed between the day-trip and sunset, go with sunset. The views are UNREAL.

Absolutes Highlight mit supersympathischer Begleitung!

Es war großartig! Der Bus ausgesprochen bequem, sowohl Fahrer als auch Guide supersympathisch und sehr kompetent, außerdem freundlich und lustig. Der Ausflug generell ein Traum, es wäre sehr schade gewesen, solch einen Sonnenuntergang auf diesem Platz der Erde verpasst zu haben!
Ich kann diesen Veranstalter zu 100 % empfehlen und würde keinen anderen nehmen!

Enjoyable, inexpensive excursion

The sunset trip was much better than we could have hoped for! It was a bleak day, raining on and off for the bulk of our drive. Lily and Despina did a wonderful job keeping our small group entertained by sharing Greek mythology and local history. Our driver (I believe his name is Sitorous?) handled the wet, winding roads with ease in the comfy coach.

As we rounded a curve just as the Temple came into view, we spotted a double rainbow over the cape. The crew pulled off so we could take pictures and marvel at the beauty of the gulf. We had a lovely experience at the Temple with enough time to enjoy a beer at the cafe before the walk/hike up to the Temple.

The company was very communicative and clear in their instructions, including where and when to meet and how to navigate the site.

Great excursion if you’re looking for something inexpensive and not too much of a time commitment.
