Michael was our guide. He did a wonderful job explaining the history of the city and sites. If you can ask for him you won’t be disappointed.

We took a 5 hour tour of Athens with Michael yesterday; it was an excellent way to see the sights of the city without worrying about logistics, parking, weather…and…Michael provided a great narrative of the amazing history of everything and the city he clearly loves; he was also able to cater to our needs…and…his new Mercedes van was incredibly comfortable; Michael was able to drive us to a site, let us out at practically the entrance, and, wait on us to return…for our needs, we couldn’t have asked for more. He provided water, an umbrella, and superior service (arriving 15 minutes early to our center city hotel). Also he is a super-nice guy!

Our driver/tour guide Micheal was absolutely the most well versed on every aspect of the history and city! I highly recommend the private tour. Travel in luxury, relax between sights, and did I mention the another level knowledge?

Our guide, Kostas, was wonderful! He arrived to pick us up on time, drove us to all of the major sights, and explained lots of history along the way. And although the entrance fees to the various sites weren't covered in the cost of the tour, he took care of purchasing the entrance tickets on our behalf (including the Parthenon, which now requires timed tickets). We would highly recommend this tour for first-time visitors to Athens. This private tour is much more efficient than a hop on hop off bus, and you get much more history and interesting facts.

This was an amazing tour! George managed to take us to so many places, knew when to time it perfectly to see the changing of the guards, directed us to such amazing food for lunch and was able to manage the crazy driving in Athens! He was aware of what our priorities were and made them happen - can’t say enough about our guide, he made the tour. We also loved the variety of things we were able to see. If it’s your first time in Athens and you only have a day- this is the perfect tour for you.

Other than the excruciating heat, the tour was excellent. The driver arrived at the hotel on time and was knowledgeable and professional. He did a great job of trying to drop us off close to entrances and give us great views and sites. The air conditioning in the van could have been cooler.

I did a lot of research into reputable tour guides in Athens and Athens Taxi Travel had really good reviews. So I decided to book all our transfers and tours through this company. From the moment we got picked up from the airport the service was impeccable and prompt. Special mention to our guide Vicky and driver Yanni for looking after us on our trip to Corinth, Vicky was a wealth of information and very knowledgeable. The second day Kostas and Vicky took us to Cape Sounion to see the Temple of Poseidon. Don’t bother looking any further - this is the company to book with!

Kostas is absolutely amazing- It is affordable as he takes you to historic sites and doesn’t over power the experience! He knows ways to get in many attractions without spending days doing so-

Can’t say enough about how wonderful this tour was. Our tour guide Spyros picked us up in a minivan with two car seats as requested from our hotel. When traveling with babies and toddlers, it’s nice to have this option. He took us to the Acropolis and Ancient Agora and also waited patiently for us when we had to get lunch for our hungry toddler. He knew a lot about Athens and the sights. I only wish we had more time to explore!
Would highly recommend especially if you’re traveling with young children so you can take your time and choose the sights you really want to see.

Kostas is a mine of historical knowledge and an amazing personality. He is an exceptional guide, driver, and historian. You won't find a better tour guide anywhere in the world! We we're so lucky to have had him for 6 hours in our lives. K&L

What is the best ticket to get that combines multiple places?

You can ask for the ticket that gets you entrance to all of the sites at any of the sites. So ask at the first one you go to.
