Great tour! We cycled through the suburbs of Athens, down a bike path to the sea, past the Reno Piano cultural centre and the marina. We even got in a quick swim! Kostas and Dimitrios were excellent company, full of information about life in Greece. We finished the tour with refreshments on a homely apartment balcony with a fabulous view of the Parthenon.

The city highlights bike tour was fabulous today. I had such a wonderful time. George, Alex & Efram did a great job showing me around, providing great stories about the ruins, classical Greece, modern Greece, democracy & government, history, art/culture and even a bit of flora and fauna. They asked me what I wanted and did I have a goal for the tour. Since it was my first day, I asked to get to know the city enough so I can walk around without the GPS. On the walk back to my hotel I queued up the google maps and only needed to check it a couple times. I definitely feel comfortable walking around the city now. Also, I am so appreciative and impressed with the snacks Greek Hospitality style!

Demos is a wonderful, knowledgeable guide with interesting insights to the history of Athens. The tour was an easy 3 hour ride visiting the highlights of the city with photo stops (he was very patient with this). Recommend Roll in Athens to anyone with limited time in the city.

After walking around Athens and seeing the sites for a couple days I decided to do this tour. What a great way to experience Athens! Demos was an amazing guide and I had so much fun seeing Athens and riding down to the sea. It’s a great way to experience another part of Athens and unlike a tour bus you have access to so much more and can go places a vehicle can’t.

とても安全に、楽しく過ごすことができました。集合場所もわかりやすく、一人一人にとても気を使っていただけるので、車の多いアテネの街中も安心して走れます。がたがたの舗装道路も、上手に回避して楽しく走れました。アテネやアクロポリスなど全く違う視点からみれます。海のほうにいくコースは、泳いだりすることもあるそうです。そしてコースの最後に、オーナーさんの素敵な事務所のテラスでアクロポリスをみながら打ち上げ、最高です。一人旅でも、他の参加者と楽しく参加できると思います。ぜひアテネにきたら、参加してみてください！
Highly recommended! Demos is much more than just guide, now I feel like I have and a friend in Athens for a long time. He took great gare to make sure I am safe and having fun, so I really felt I am free and safe. It is really great to enjoy the busy city of Athens from the local point of view. The total itenaly was not too hard, so don’t be afraid to challenge!
Demos had been always careful to respect my interest, and he really even took the great photo during the tour. Much appreciated!

We did the city cycle tour and would highly recommend it! As we only had a day in Athens, this was a great way to get around the city, see the sites and see many other things we would’ve missed. Our guide, Demos, had a wealth of knowledge and the ride itself was easy. We rode at a slow pace and frequently stopped. The wine/beer and meze at the end was delicious and a lovely way to end the ride.

The City-to-Sea bike ride (and dip in the sea, and after-ride snack with a view of the Acropolis) was excellent but even more excellent was seeing Athens from the perspective of Kostas, who was informative and interesting and fun! This was my favorite activity in Athens, and that's saying a lot, given what a great city this is. It was also super-easy to organize.

Demos and Kostas are more than just guides but your new friends in Athens! It was a special experience for us to be invited into Kostas’s personal home, and have coffee and snacks on the balcony with amazing view of the Parthenon. The tour was highly personalised and went at our pace. We highly recommend!

We booked this trip to get to grips with the layout of the city and to find our feet before exploring by ourselves. Our expectations were exceeded by far! Demos and Kostas were such friendly and knowledgeable hosts, kept us safe the entire ride and gave us local tips and recommendations for the rest of the trip. Would definitely recommend!

The Roll in Athens bike tour from near Monastiraki to the sea with Costas and Demos exceeded expectations. Demos joined us for the first section, down to the new opera house, giving us a taster of what to expect from his city tour, as he expounded with enthusiasm, about the ancient Agora and Greek philosophers.
Most of the route follows the old rail line, and the course of the culverted Ilisos river, on a dedicated pedestrian and cycle route with only limited interaction with the Athens traffic - something much appreciated by a slightly nervous part time cyclist, like myself.
At the Cultural Centre, Kallithea, we accented to the roof, for panoramic views of the city and Saronic Gulf, before continuing to the sea at Faliro, where we stopped at a cafe to buy drinks. The beach at Faliro Bay is fairly pedestrian, by Greek standards, but there was an opportunity for a quick swim, if we’d known to bring costumes (I imagine that this would be very attractive in a hot summer’s day). More importantly, the trams from central Athens run alongside the shore at this point, and they take bikes, giving the option for the weary, or lazy, to ride the tram back. Our group rode back, arriving after sunset, for a meze and rooftop views of a floodlit Acropolis.
The bikes are well maintained, and the pace was right for me. You do not have to be super fit, but some exertion is required.
