Great addition to a fabulous stay! Paul and Claire are great hosts and Alpaca guides! It was great to learn about the boys who we had seen from our window every morning! They were surprisingly gentle eating from our hands. We couldn’t resist buying some warm Alpaca socks!

What an unforgettable experience! Claire was warm, friendly and welcoming and had vast knowledge of the boys and the local area. She explained everything in detail and made us feel very calm around the animals. The scenery was breathtaking and we had the most beautiful morning at the farm. 100% recommend this experience! I can’t wait to cuddle Winston again soon.

I surprised my family with the Alpaca experience for Christmas, and they all absolutely loved it, Clare was so welcoming, hilarious and very knowledgeable on everything alpaca related, aswel as an experience it was also an education, we got introduced to the boys (the alpacas, Luther, Wilson and Nelson) and took them on a walk around their idlic woodland area, we got to know them and even had a little cuddle too! I would 100% recommended experiencing this whether you have children or as a group of adults. It's something different, fun for all and makes a fantastic gift for family and friends.

Another lovely stay at Naze View Barn. The Barn is beautifully finished and well equipped for a UK-staycation. We love the barn so much this was our 2nd visit and highly doubt it will be our last.
Living space is well designed for the open plan feel, the original beams are also exposed which really adds a lot of character to the room. Kitchen well equipped with all you should need. Comfy lounge area with Smart Tv which is a bonus as it was a bit wet when we visited.
Downstairs to the bedrooms and bathrooms which are nicely decorated and beds are very comfy. Also there is washer dryer / utility cupboard too.
The private outside space with the hot tub is beautifully done with slate paving slabs, an area to sit and most importantly the tub.
Claire and Paul are both very friendly and if you can definitely do the Alpaca Experience!

We stayed for the weekend and from start to finish we had an amazing time. The accommodation is 1st class and the added touch of a bottle of complimentary bubbly to see in the new year was 1st class too.
The only downside was the weather so couldn't make use of the hot tub but other than that the stay was fantastic including the alpaca walk which we thoroughly enjoyed and even made a new best friend (Star the cat). Thank you for making us feel welcome and for let us share you're wonderful place foe a couple of nights.

Loved meeting the Alpacas, madw all the more interesting by the excellent information given by the host. The whole family thought it was grand. Good value.

We had a fantastic experience walking the Alpacas, made even more interesting by Claire and Maisie, telling us about these amazing creatures, their knowledge of Alpacas is encyclopedic and so informative.
The Alpacas, Luther, Nelson and Winston are so adorable and gentle. My grandchildren were entranced by the whole experience, in fact the adults were as well.
A memorable and lovely walk.

Stunning barn, location and views. Our hosts communicated brilliantly with us before and during our stay, nothing was too much trouble. The barn is beautifully decorated and excellently equipped, with gorgeous views over the animal fields and countryside beyond. The alpaca experience was a fantastic bonus, great to get to know ‘the boys’ and spend time petting the sheep, chickens and puppies! Overall a fantastic short break to celebrate our joint big birthdays… would highly recommend!

My family booked for me to walk the Alpacas and it was a fantastic couple of hours. The guide Clare was friendly and gave us so much interesting information on the animals as we walked them. Luther, Winston and Nelson the three alpacas each had their own individual personalities. They were wonderful to walk around with. We also met the hens and beautiful Swiss sheep whom we were able to "hug."
all in all I would recommend this as it was both relaxing and a wonderful experience in a stunning setting. 5 stars from me. *****.

We booked this experience as we were visiting the Peak District for a birthday retreat. I came across this because of the many good reviews.
We were so excited to meet the Alpacas. They are such beautiful animals. It was a pleasure meeting Paul (our host). He was so friendly and we had so much in common with him. He was incredibly knowledgable and we learnt so much. It was lovely to see all the animals roaming around the fields freely. We walked the alpacas around the field. They seemed so happy and comfortable. It was therapeutic for us to walk them because they walked slow and they’d often stop for a break. We did not get great weather as it was raining but that didn’t bother us. Once we were done with the walk we got to hand feed the alpacas. They are super gentle and very excited for their food.
Paul was kind enough to show us all of his animals and we had the pleasure of meeting his chickens, ducks and sheep.
We purchased some soft alpaca wool socks that the host was selling. I look forward to wearing them this autumn/winter.
Overall I would highly recommend this experience because we learnt a lot, we got to meet all the animals and we had a great laugh with the host (Paul), who is clearly very passionate about what he does. You can see how much he loves and cares for his animals.
Make sure you wear wellies that can get dirty and bring a spare pare of shoes to drive back in as there is a lot of poop everywhere and you’re guaranteed to step in it.
Communication with the host was easy, and replies were quick. They kindly amended our experience time as it was during the Queen’s funeral. I am so grateful they could accommodate us because were were travelling (4 hrs) back home that day and we would not have had another opportunity to do the experience again.
