We really loved this room! It was a great variety of puzzles and the theme and story were really fun.

The Museum is related to one of the best escape room companies in Athens, Lockhill, hence it couldn't be missing from our list of escape rooms we wanted to visit. Its location, at Acharnes/Menidi is quite far from our usual destinations towards the south or centre of Athens so it took us a while to try it. There doesn't seem to be any easy public transport link, so you'd probably need to visit by car. Parking seemed to be easy enough nearby though.
Before kicking off with the proper room review, I need to get something out of the way. Our interaction with the main actor/GM didn't go smoothly. I'm not sure what went wrong but he came off as annoying and outright rude to a couple of our team members starting off from our first encounter when we reached the Museum (note that this is one of the few escape rooms where you are not expected to arrive 10-15' early). This was also met with similar behaviour from said team members and the whole thing created a slightly awkward atmosphere throughout the experience. In fact this was also discussed but not resolved at the end of our game. I do understand that customer interaction is difficult, but people that provide services need to be ready to diffuse a situation even if they can't find a fault in their own behaviour. This is the sole reason the room doesn't get the full 5/5.
Moving on to the actual room experience, you and your friends (up to 8!) are visiting the Museum and specifically the Mediecal Torture exhibition and you have 2 hours to find and in some way obtain one of its prized possessions while posing as simple visitors! In your quest you will have both allies and enemies. The setting of the Museum is very realistic and does look like a small museum, and I do only mean "small museum", because all in all it is a large space with several different rooms you can investigate and use during your quest. The riddles are very interesting, but I think the highlight of the game is the heist itself and how the team is led there. The interaction with the actors adds to the "cinematic" atmosphere and forces you to role-play as well. While it is not too difficult, I wouldn't recommend it for newbies, both with regards to escape rooms, as well as, escape rooms with actors.

It was an amazing experience. The place had a very realistic atmosphere, and the actors were 100% tuned in. I definitely recommended it. We had a great time!!!!

What an amazing experience! A high bugdet production escape game that takes place in a real museum different from the conventional ones! The interaction with the actors makes it really unique! Highly recommended!
