Allora abbiamo fatto queste ferie 4 amici (più il nostro capitano Dio che era un ragazzo molto contento e tranquillissimo!).
Abbiamo fatto il giro di kefalonia e Ithaca.
Era un esperienza meravigliosa!
Il yatch “arabella” era molto comodo per noi 4.con 1 master bedroom, 2 doppie con singoli letti e 2 bagni.
Allora lo consiglio per sicuro!

We were going to stay on our cruise ship and, at the last minute, decided to book a boat to take us around Katakolon. Best decision we ever made. Dennis and his crew were beyond our expectations. The boat is beautiful. 46ft. There was room for 10, but we only had 4. We started with a ride through the Ionian Sea to some incredible caves. Dennis was great about moving us away from the other tourist boats so we were essentially by ourselves. We jumped off the boat into the Sea and swam ashore. absolutely beautiful. when we returned to the boat, Dennis had fresh Mediterranean salad and cold wine waiting. He then drove us to another spot where we were able to swim in these unbelievable caves. Maybe the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. This time, we got back to the boat, he had more treats for us, and wine. Finally he took us to a place where we got to watch see turtles swim around. The best part of all this, was that you on the road instead of on one of the mass tourist boat where people are fighting to get to the edge to see things. I would recommend contacting DENNIS and his crew. Simply, the best day ever!

After 3 days of being surrounded by thousands of tourists on all the port of calls, we opt for our own private yacht to Zakythnos, the blue caves and a day to swim in dazzling blue waters. Best decision ever and the trip exceeded our expectation. Dennis, Anastasia were amazing hosts and all the kids were so thrilled to get a chance at steering the yacht. Highly recommended, so much more enjoyable than trekking all the way to Olympia with hundreds of people and baking in the hot summer sun.

Our cruise ship docked in Katakolon, where most people take shore excursions to Ancient Olympia. Since we didn't have much interest in seeing Ancient Olympia, we booked a day cruise to Zakynthos. It's a very beautiful island about 1.5 hours from Katakolon by boat. They took us to several locations where we could swim, admit the beautiful caves and rock formations or just relax on the yacht. Our guides were very friendly and got us back to the cruise port punctually. A perfect excursion for those looking for an alternative to Ancient Olympia!

We thought of chartering a boat in order to better experience Greece's beautiful sea and islands. It happened to be one of the best holidays I've ever had. The combination of Greece's natural beauty along with the ability to make our own path was amazing. I would recommend it for anyone wanting to try something different than the standard tourist experience!

We booked this yacht for our last port call at Katakolon and managed to find a few people onboard the cruise ship to share it with us and was so glad we did it - the Amore was docked right next to our ship (see photos) so was very easy to find. Dennis was the perfect host/crew/captain and we sailed out into the peaceful sea and anchored up at a beautiful bay where he supplied us with a bottle of wine and snacks. He had snorkelling equipment if we wanted it but none of us were brave enough so I just dangled my legs in the sea off the board where you can get off for a swim and he has a flexible shower to rinse off the salt. We then sailed to a little island and took in the beautiful scenery. He then supplied Ouzo and more snacks before returning us to the dock. We had about 3 1/2 hours out at sea but Dennis would have probably given us longer if we wanted. Everyone thanked us for making their holiday by arranging this lovely yacht trip - it certainly beat just wandering around the shops or the other ship excursions - we thoroughly recommend it. Thank you Dennis!

On our week long cruise, Katakolon was our last stop. We were in Athens the day before and weren't too excited to visit Olympia, so we wanted an alternate option. Through tripadvisor we found Dennis and I'm so glad we did! He was very professional throughout the whole planning process, providing us detailed instructions on where to go once we got off our ship. Once we were on the yacht, it was very relaxing to explore the coast. We chose the half day option, since it was the last day and we knew we would be getting tired of the sun. We made two stops and were given the opportunity to swim, sun bathe and relax. He provided wine and snacks for us as well as great conversation. We very much enjoyed our time and are glad we chose Dennis and Katakolo Yacht for our last day in Greece!

As the last port of call during our week long cruise, I was looking for something special to do while at Katakolon with my wife and two adult children. I hit the jackpot when I booked our private day tour with Dennis and Katakolo Yacht Tours. As we disembarked from our cruise ship, we were met by Dennis and his 39 foot Sea Ray yacht right in front of our ship. Considered as a half-day tour, Dennis provided us with 4 hours of cruising along the coastline, stopping at two different coves and islands for swimming and sunbathing. A bottle of wine, juices, water and assorted snacks are included in the tour. You are welcome to bring whatever else you like aboard. Dennis provides padded cushions to lay out on the deck of the boat for sunbathing, music, snorkel gear and friendly conversation. He is professional, courteous and willing to take you to as many different spots as you like to swim and enjoy the breathtaking views. My family loved the entire experience.
A 25 percent deposit via wire transfer is required. The total cost was 400 euro, which we felt was a good value for the type of experience we had. I would strongly recommend Dennis and Katakolo Yacht Day Tours as a special treat when visiting this beautiful part of Greece.
