thank you for taking the time to post a review on our property. We always appreciate the feedback from our guests as it helps us identify more clearly our strenghts and weaknesses. Concerning the AC issue, we do know there has appeared a problem of noise with a few units and we have tried to reduce the noise but it was not possible to completely solve this problem in the middle of the high season. So, we took the decision to change the whole AC equipment of the main building, that means all the individual room units as well as the central one, and install a brand new one. This improvement will take place in the following months, so your queries in that respect will be taken care. In any case, please accept our apologies for the inconvenience produced.

Concerning, the second issue in your review, that is the indifference of our staff regarding the AC problem, I feel the need to apologize again, and I would highly appreciate it if you contact me offline and give me some more details about this improper behaviour of our employee(s). I would like to know, so we can prevent it from happening again.

Nevertheless the above issues, you have been upgraded to the tower room (which normally belongs to a higher price category), and we are glad you did like the room in our new wing.

Finally, I would like to inform you that during the last months we have been in a continuous process of improving our facilities (opening of our brand new wing) and services (offering rich buffet breakfast) -and the recent reviews we have received testify for this-, so we are even more concerned when we find out our guests were not satisfied.

P.S. Regarding your mentions about certain hotels in the new town of Monemvasia, I don't know if you speak from personal experience but, in my opinion, the whole experience of staying at Lazareto, its unique location and its special ambience cannot be compared to the one staying at any hotel in the modern town.
