Thank you for your comments on Tripadvisor following your recent visit to the Crowne Plaza Amsterdam City Centre. It is always wonderful to read feedback on our property and being shared with the travel community.

I am very intrigued to find that our central station is build on 8000 wood pilings. Never though of this before but quite understandable since Amsterdam is below sea level and not quite build on the strongest surfaces available.

The clubrooms are indeed scattered throughout the hotel. These rooms are equipped with a Nespresso coffee maker and upgraded bathroom amenities for instance and, when booked as such, access to Clublounge with complimentary internet access and an array of drinks and snacks, pastries and candy throughout the day and breakfast in the morning. I am sorry to read you expected our lounge to be open during the night. Something we should indeed take in consideration for our jetlagged guests.

I am sory to read there was mistake on your invoice and hope we rectified it to your satisfaction.

Besides the happy hours did you lunch or dine at our restaurant? New Dorrius Restaurant and Bar provides you with typical Dutch fare prepared with an International twist. We are sure there something enjoyable on our menu for all our guests.

We hope you are able to come and visit us again here at the Crowne Plaza Amsterdam City Centre and New Dorrius Restaurant and Bar.

It is great to read you enjoyed the Clubroom you booked with us. Indeed once booked, you can find many benefits and we are delighted to find you were pleased with the offerings in the Clublounge.

Our New Dorrius Restaurant and Bar indeed offers an American Breakfast buffet with many offerings from cold cuts to omelettes made to order and bacon and sausages as well as different jams and sweet breakfast toppings typical to the dutch breakfast tradition.

The hotel is, as described, conveniently located just steps away from Central Station with an easy connection to Amsterdam Schiphol International Airport. Also the various Amsterdam sites like the canals and canal houses, Anne Frank House and Dam square and Royal Palace are in walking distance of the Hotel.

The hotel was completely renovated in 2009, we are glad the choices made are appreciated by you as by many of our guests.

Your review being short, comments on a lot of things. The location is indeed very central in Amsterdam City Centre. Just steps away from Amsterdam Central Station and near a lot of Amsterdam favorites such as Dam Square and the Royal Palace, the nine streets shopping area, The canals with typical Amsterdam Canal Houses.
